Gregory S. Hansen
was born and raised in Kansas.
He was admitted to The Florida Bar in 1985 after graduating from The
Florida State University College of Law. Mr.
Hansen has one daughter. He
received his undergraduate degree in accounting from Kansas State University,
cum laude.
After moving to Brevard County, Mr. Hansen was appointed Assistant State
Attorney of the Eighteenth Judicial Circuit, for Brevard and Seminole Counties,
where he served from 1985 until 1989. During
his tenure as an Assistant State Attorney, Mr. Hansen was lead counsel in well
over 100 felony jury trials. His
most recent assignment before entering private practice was Chief Trial Attorney
for all of the major drug prosecutions in Brevard County.
In this position, he distinguished himself in handling the prosecution of
complex criminal conspiracies.
Since joining the firm in 1989, Mr. Hansen has drawn upon his extensive
jury trial experience by representing plaintiffs and defendants in handling
hundreds of personal injury litigation cases.
Mr. Hansen's easy demeanor enables him to quickly establish requisite
rapport with clients, witnesses and, most importantly, jurors, which is a vital
personal quality in a successful personal injury trial practice.
Mr. Hansen has been a Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer since 1993.
He is a contributing author on the subject of wrongful death claims in a
professional practice manual published by The Florida Bar.
Mr. Hansen is admitted to practice before the courts of Florida, as well
as the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, and the
United States Court of Appeal, Eleventh Circuit.
