Stephen P. Heuston was born and raised in the state of Washington. He attended the University of Washington in Seattle and graduated in 1982 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. After receiving his undergraduate degree, he moved to Washington, D.C. to work for the United States Senate and the United States House of Representatives as a Legislative Assistant for various members. In his last position with the House of Representatives, he assisted the member with economic, budget and tax issues, including the complete revision of the United States Internal Revenue Code in 1986.

Mr. Heuston entered the George Washington University National Law Center in 1986 and received his law degree in 1989. While attending the National Law Center, Mr. Heuston was selected as a member of the George Washington Journal of International Law and Economics and his Note was chosen for publication.

Following law school, Mr. Heuston practiced for three years with the Washington, D.C. office of a Baltimore law firm and worked in that firm's Trusts and Estates department in the areas of probate, tax and estate planning. Mr. Heuston married a Vero Beach native and was easily persuaded to move to Brevard County, Florida in 1993, where he lives with his wife and two children.

Mr. Heuston is Board Certified in Wills, Trusts and Estates. Mr. Heuston practices solely in the areas of the administrations of estates, trusts, and guardianships, estate and tax planning, and taxation of decendents' estates. He is admitted to practice before the courts of the states of Florida and Maryland as well as the District of Columbia. He is a member of the Section of Real Property, Probate and Trust Law of The Florida Bar and the Brevard County Estate Planning Council. Mr. Heuston is a member of the Advisory Board of the Melbourne Corps of the Salvation Army.
