Community Activities

The staff of Frese Hansen once again participated in the dressing of bears for the "Teddy Bear Tea & Auction."  Each year our staff uses their creativity and resources to provide outfits for the bears.  This year we outfitted over 15 bears in patriotic, bedtime, 50's poodle dress, cheerleader, beach and dance wear.  There were also pumpkins and fairy princesses and school bound bears.  All funds went to support The Salvation Army Domestic Violence Program.  Other bears were given to children who stay at The Salvation Army Domestic Violence Shelter.  For more information about the shelter, visit their website at www.salvationarmyncbrevard.org.

Frese, Hansen, Anderson, Anderson, Heuston & Whitehead, P.A. sponsors this tournament annually.  The proceeds benefit the Space Coast Early Intervention Center.

The Salvation Army Women and Children's Shelter

Stephen P. Heuston, Esquire is a member of the Advisory Board for the local division of The Salvation Army.  The Salvation Army will strive to provide shelter, food, spiritual comfort and emotional support to homeless women with or without children who seek our assistance for basic human necessities.  The Salvation Army strives to ultimately guide and train these women in different aspect of life's skills, in order for them to return to society as self-sufficient, responsible, independent citizens and nurturing parents, who are able to reside in and afford their own house or apartment.  Phase I of the shelter will house a total of 40 women and children.
