The mobile products company Brightstar has officially purchased the Canada based company Wireless Works. After a run of acquisitions, Brightstar CEO said the decision to purchase Wireless Works was made to improve their presence in Canada, a country Brightstar already offers services to.
Brightstar is the world's largest specialized wireless distributor and provides device protection and services to Canada as well as Japan, Europe and India. However, their acquisition of Wireless Works could likely make Brightstar a contending leader in Canada for mobile device distribution and service.
The Miami based company has been purchasing numerous companies internationally. All of which are involved in mobile business services, accessories and distribution. The acquisition of Wireless Works was made for an undisclosed amount. However, the impressive growth and increasing revenue of Brightstar proves that they know what they are doing.
Brightstar can boast being one of the fastest growing mobile service companies in Florida. Employing some 500 people in their home area and having doubled their employee count globally. Their revenue is also something to brag about, jumping from $7.2 billion to an impressive $10 billion last year.
While there are not many details released regarding Brightstar's recent string of acquisitions, it is likely that the company has a team of people working toward these developments. While there may not be a formula for success, having a team of skilled advisors can help companies move from the startup phase to the growth phase. Experienced business law attorneys can help acquisitions move forward smoothly.
